MIFT~sweet memories..

last weekend..we all went to Monash university sunway campus for Malaysian Institute of Food Technology (MIFT) competition..

we participated in some of the categories:

1. Food Bowl Quiz

2. Oratory

3. Innovative and Product development

n i was one of the team member who participated in the 3rd category..bringing our salak product to be promoted..

we’ve been thru thick n thin together to come to the finish line of this competition..mmg sgt mencabar..

problem come n go..but we decided to stick with our product...no regrets!

working with 6 people in total mmg sgt tiring..

tp ramai kwn2 yg lain yg membantu..tq a bunch!

sampai monash on friday tu trus setup booth..warm welcome by Dr Anne Vaughn..tq very much...she’s an Irish..hv to listen very carefully to her words to avoid misunderstanding…hihi..

we’ve been given 1 lecture room where there were 4 groups allocated in the room..2 group from UMS n 2 groups from UniSZA..

all together there were 10 groups from 5 universities..

the next day was the big day!

so excited but still nervous..

this year got some change..last years the judges will come to the booth individually n they will come again if the product is in the Top 3 list!

this year we have to present a presentation in front of the judges to impress them..

so..kne undi giliran to present to all judges..my team lucky no 8!

n who’s going to present???

the judges said only 2-3 person allowed..

TAKOT!

finally..org yg kne present ialah SAYA!

honestly..mmg excited..tp sgt takot!

the presentation hv to be presented like viva..have slides n the judges 5 org sit in a row..

i wasn’t alone..dila n sya teman to help in answering questions..

the presenter n defenders..shielding effect kne power!huhu..

from 11 am to 3 pm..we were crazy waiting for our turn..

my focus mmg only on the presentation..xmampu layan student yg dtg booth...ikhsan, ct n mizah yg penat melayan org dtg..

the butterflies fly freely in my stomach sampai i went to the restroom 4 times within 2 hours..haha..

see..how takot i was dat time!

x sabar dh nk jumpe judges..sampai pg tanya kat Prof Gary, 1 of the coordinator from Monash which team yg tgh present..i can’t wait any longer…huhu..

tetibe 1 of the judges kuar from the judging room..Mr Fisal said my turn will be next!berdoa sebanyak mungkin..n bila step in..muka kne manis..

the presentation went very well n all the questions were all been answered with the best answer!

step out of the room..trus bersyukur n peluk dila n sya!

team lain yg nk masuk room tu tgk2 we all..mcm psycho pon ade kan??huhu..

tp serious we did our best..how impressed the judges were tu kitorg x pasti..yg pnting kami puas hati!

back to our booth with a smiling faces..semua lega..TAPI!

the judges will pay a visit to our booth kan?

so..prepared the product samples for the judges..

we were the final booth yg they visited..x byk soalan..semua impressed..tp the chief of judge, Dr Nik who is the President of MIFT said the raw material cost was quite high..dats one of the problem!

hmm..tp yg lain semua impressed..=)

melangkah ke depan dgn kesyukuran..

amat gembira..

leader will always be a leader

dulu mase sekolah..

aku mmg suke jd ketua..suke jd perhatian cikgu..

ntah la ek..mmg mcm tu dri dulu..

mase sekolah rendah aku pnah jd penolong kelas n pengerusi persatuan puteri islam based on pilihan cikgu2..maybe sbb aku tinggi..n byk tanya kot..huhu..

bila naik skola menengah..aku slow down..sbb skola aku ramai yg lebih hebat drpd aku..

semua nya menonjol..

tp alhamdulillah..aku diberi peluang jd penolong ketua kelas mase form 1 n form 2..

semua semangat jd pemimpin mula membakar dlm diri..

so..pasang niat dlm hati aku akan menjadi pemimpin suatu hari nnt..

mase form 3 aku slow down sbb nk PMR..tp masih active ngn Pandu Puteri..mengenali seorang guru yg sgt berkaliber..MISS LOW BENG CHOO..

yes…dialah pembakar semangat aku..memberi moral support yg x pnah kurang..

bila dh besar sket..lagi la semangat nk menonjol di semua tempat yg aku pg..

self-confidence dibina sikit demi sikit..

self-independence dicabar

mental pressure control yg dipupuk melalui program2 Pandu Puteri..

mainan emosi yg sgt kritikal..tp semuanya aku perlu hadapi..

form 4 jd monitor class..tp mmg tension..turun class..haha..

form 5 aku hanya active bersama pandu puteri..menjadi bendahari..

mmg mencabar..tp semuanya telah ditempuh sebaik mungkin..

kenangan sekolah terlalu indah!!

dh msuk universiti..

aku dh xnk active pada mulanya..

sbb mungkin kwn2 sekeliling xde yg btol2 nk active dlm berpersatuan..

so..aku sorg2..

smpailah..sem 2..aku join persatuan kolej kediaman..

mase ni barulah knal2 ngn student dr faculty lain..

hidup berubah…aku jd lebih bersemangat nk jd pemimpin..

tp mase tu jd exco sukan dan rekreasi je..so..

anjur activiti yg berkenaan sukan la..huhu..

bila sukan..mestila libatkan DIA..eh..tetibe lak..=P

mase ni x knal dia sgt..cume tau dia adalah senior aku..=)

kebetulan ade program jati diri di kolej matrikulasi pahang..

maka..aku pon mencuba naseb jd fasilitator utk program tersebut..

yes..aku terpilih..alhmdulillah..

menjadi fasilitator mmg mencabar..

n pada mase ni la aku mengenali MPP..

menjalin hubungan baik dgn mereka..

aku suke tgk mereka buat kerja..mnjadi org penting..penuh dgn gaya kepimpinan..

selepas program tu..aku jd Pembantu Mahasiswa utk Minggu Mesra Siswa..

pengalaman berharga..detik awal membina jati diri..

aku masih ingt ketika menjalani kursus..aku dikritik oleh seorg MPP..

namun..kritikan membina itu aku ambil sebgai langkah perbaiki diri..

aku belajar berucap dihadapan org ramai..berani tampil memberi pendapat..

dan SEMUA aspek kepimpinan..

lepas program tu..aku dipanggil utk menghadiri satu kursus kepimpinan di KB..

yes..ketika ini aku x sedar mngapa aku perlu hadir kursus itu..

hnya kerana seronok menghadiri kursus..aku pon pg dgn tenang..

ramai kenalan baru yg ku jumpe..

cabaran semakin hebat..

bukan stakat public speaking..

critical thinking juga dituntut!

selesai kursus baru ku tau tujuan kursus..

aku di uji dan potensi aku direkod..

alhamdulillah..

perjuangan aku baru bermula..

Pilihanraya kampus 2011

tahun lepas x berkesempatan sbb practical di JB..

kesempatan terakhir ni aku gunakan sepenuhnya..even jauh dari pusat undi..aku tetap cuba sedaya upaya..

dgn bantuan calon2 umum dan mantan2 MPP 09/10..

sebuah van telah diarahkan untuk mengambil aku dan rakan2 yg berada di asrama Kampus Kota..

tq so much!

well..satu undian mmg bererti kan?

tq kepada yg berusaha..=)

undian aku mmg aku tahu tepat..tp keputusan PRK calon UMUM tetap telah tersurat..pasti ade yg tersirat kan..

xpela..semoga yg terpilih dapat menjalankan amanah sebaik mungkin..

aku dulu xmerasa menjadi calon umum ni..calon fakulti je..=)

tp mmg setahun yg cukup bermakna…

dpt mencari kelebihan diri yg selama ni x nampak..

alhamdulillah..aku syukur dgn kesempatan yg diberikan..

nnt aku wat post flash back time aku dulu2 ya..

nway..tahniah sekali lagi kepada semua MT yg terpilih..

mostly aku amat kenal..so proud of u all..

hari lahir my Mr Sunshine..

teringat tahun lepas..x sempat celeb pada hari kejadian..eh…kelahiran..hihi..

tp celeb awal sehari..

tahun ni we both berada di Terengganu..so..celeb di sini..

nk celeb bersama betul2 sharp pkul 12 am tu mmg la xleh..

cake pon xde..

cume mampu beri..

sbb kn i have a competition kat Monash Uni this Saturday..

so..wat product with my group..

terhasillah biskut itu..

maka..diberikan pada 14.2.11

dia ckp SEDAP..of coz la..air tgn sape..hihi..dibuat dgn penuh kasih syg!

he said this was his Bday Biscuit..instead of Bday Cake la kan..huhu..

on his Bday..

dia pg main futsal...even x berjaya menjadi juara..kau tetap juara di hati ku…haha..=P

n i pon bz with my group nk settle bende salak ni segala..

so..mlm la baru leh bertemu..=)

tq to my group members yg sgt memahami..

ok..we both pg Secret Recipe utk dinner..

tp i dh wat table reservation plus mintak beberapa preparation utk celeb bday boy tu..hihi

setiap bulan ade je org yg organized dedication..

it can be chocs, bookmark, flowers, cakes or anything yg cantek!

girls school kan..mmg la semua nk LEBIH!

oleh kerana kitorg semua girls..

mestila nk ade boys kan?

ingat boys school xde dedication segala ni ke?

ade la!

so..

any occasion mesti akan ade dedications from boys school or mane2 school berdekatan..

dulu EC (English College) la yg HOT..huhu..

SIGS mesti nk partner ngn EC..

dh jd tradition kot..

huhu..

aku dpt dedication chocs from my bestie kat EC..

n my teacher yg distribute all those dedication sbb mse tu dia geram..

ganggu kelas dia..hihi..dh la 2 plastik besar..
